By accessing or using VidTL, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use VidTL.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and VidTL.
You must be at least 13 years old to use VidTL. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use VidTL only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
By using VidTL, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms and that your use of VidTL complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Some VidTL features may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating or updating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You are responsible for all content uploaded, created, edited, generated, exported, shared, or otherwise handled through your account, including activity by anyone you authorize to use your account or workspace.
VidTL provides browser-based and AI-powered tools for editing, processing, generating, enhancing, recording, transcribing, captioning, rendering, exporting, and managing video, audio, image, text, and related project content.
Certain VidTL features may run locally in your browser. Other features may require cloud processing, account services, third-party providers, AI systems, storage, payment systems, team workspaces, or integrations.
We may modify, add, suspend, discontinue, limit, or replace any part of VidTL at any time, including features, plans, limits, storage, pricing, availability, and supported formats.
VidTL is designed so many supported editing operations can run locally in your browser, including certain cutting, transcoding, rendering, previewing, and export workflows.
Local browser processing depends on your device, browser, operating system, available memory, file size, media format, and other technical conditions. Performance may vary, and some files or operations may not be supported on all devices.
Features that require accounts, cloud sync, storage, collaboration, AI processing, transcription, text-to-speech, hosted exports, integrations, payment processing, support, analytics, or security may transmit information to VidTL or third-party service providers as necessary to provide those features.
When you use cloud-based or AI-powered features, your content, prompts, instructions, project data, media files, transcripts, captions, generated assets, metadata, usage data, interactions, and other inputs or outputs may be uploaded, stored, analyzed, processed, generated, rendered, or transmitted by VidTL or trusted service providers.
AI features may include editing suggestions, automatic clipping, transcription, captioning, text-to-speech, audio processing, visual enhancement, background removal, summarization, content generation, model training, evaluation, safety review, and other automated tools.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all outputs before using, publishing, distributing, or relying on them.
We may use content, prompts, inputs, outputs, metadata, usage data, feedback, and interactions with VidTL to develop, train, test, evaluate, improve, and operate our models, systems, features, safety tools, and services, except where prohibited by law or where we have agreed otherwise in writing.
You retain ownership of the videos, audio, images, text, prompts, projects, and other materials that you upload, create, edit, generate, or export through VidTL, subject to any rights owned by others and any licenses you grant under these Terms.
You grant VidTL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, process, transmit, display, reproduce, modify, analyze, generate, render, export, create derivative data from, and otherwise use your content as necessary or useful to provide, maintain, secure, analyze, develop, train, test, improve, support, market, and operate VidTL and related services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. This license continues for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including after you delete content where retention is permitted by our Privacy Policy or applicable law.
You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions, licenses, consents, and releases necessary to upload, edit, generate, share, publish, or export that content using VidTL.
You agree not to use VidTL to create, upload, process, generate, distribute, or share content or activity that:
VidTL and its software, website, designs, logos, trademarks, service marks, text, graphics, interfaces, workflows, features, models, systems, and other materials are owned by VidTL or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws.
Subject to these Terms, VidTL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use VidTL for your personal or internal business purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from VidTL except where permitted by law or authorized by us in writing.
You are responsible for all videos, files, links, captions, transcripts, assets, and other content that you export, publish, share, download, or distribute from VidTL.
Before publishing or distributing content, you are responsible for reviewing it for accuracy, rights clearance, privacy, consent, compliance, and suitability for your intended use.
VidTL is not responsible for how others use, copy, download, distribute, modify, or disclose content that you choose to share publicly or with other people.
VidTL may offer free plans, paid subscriptions, credits, add-ons, usage-based features, business plans, or enterprise plans. Pricing, limits, features, and availability may vary by plan and may change over time.
By purchasing a paid service, you authorize VidTL or its payment processor to charge your payment method for applicable fees, taxes, renewals, overages, and other charges associated with your plan.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You are responsible for canceling your subscription according to the cancellation process made available through your account or billing provider.
Unless required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable, and partial billing periods, unused credits, unused storage, or unused features may not be refundable.
VidTL may offer free trials, beta features, experimental tools, previews, or early access features. These features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
Beta and experimental features are provided for testing and evaluation and may be less reliable, less secure, incomplete, or subject to additional limitations.

If available, workspace owners and administrators may be able to manage users, access shared projects, view usage information, control billing, configure security settings, invite or remove members, and manage workspace content.
If you create or manage a workspace on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
VidTL may integrate with or depend on third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, payment processors, AI providers, analytics tools, authentication providers, storage providers, support tools, export destinations, and content platforms.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, fees, and restrictions. Service providers may process submitted content and related data to provide services to us and, where permitted, to improve, secure, or develop their systems, subject to their terms and our agreements with them. VidTL is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, errors, security, or practices.
We may add, remove, suspend, or replace third-party integrations at any time.
Your use of VidTL is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information.

We do not guarantee that VidTL will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or file type, or available in every location.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of VidTL at any time without liability to you.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to VidTL if we believe that you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for VidTL, failed to pay applicable fees, misused the service, or engaged in unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
